There's a guide book!  You should totes go get it!  or order it from Amazon, so you don't have to leave the house...

(It says 'complete idiot', but I think even INcomplete idiots can read this one?)

  2. Unfortunately, people have the right to refuse medication.
    Even if they are psychotic.
Which makes all kinds of sense because when you're psychotic you really make all kinds of informed, great decisions-like deciding the lil' old lady who just passed you on the street with her walker/cane is actually the devil leaning on a writing mass of snakes which she's about to turn loose on you, so you better kill her (and her walker/cane) now before the "devil and snakes" kill you.
Moral of the Mess: You have the right to remain crazy, delusional, hallucinating etc. even if the result is you injure/kill someone else. Or commence to cannibalize them in full view of a security camera which will promptly be shown on the news just when you sat down to eat dinner.

    1. TW - I absolutely agree that each person has the right to refuse medication for their illness/injury. I see evidence of that in the gabillions of homeless 'campers' living in the San Diego river bed on a daily basis. I'm guessing psyche meds haven't improved much, or more people would be taking them. I get that.

I also get that the manic portion of the Bi-Polar menu is where one feels very ALIVE. Been there/done that (albeit at the lower end of that spectrum than Lisa seems to be).

What I do not support is the un-medicated and their problems and drama with their histrionics and hyperbole. that is not something the rest of the human race should have to put up with.

this cannot be even NEAR the 1st time anyone has told Lisa that she is un-balanced-that she over reacted-that she is tilting at windmills. She is a grown adult, and as such needs desperately to take responsibility for her own actions.

When several people are telling you the same thing, perhaps LISTENING should be your Super Power, rather than the Ridiculous Rant.

    2. You definitely need to take this down. I am reading it over and over again and it is not good for me. This is incredibly mean. I know it's an attack leveled against a troll or whatever, but it is still incredibly mean. To make things clear: 1) I snapped at Doug once when he emailed me and I was a little mean to him. 2) We sent a few emails back and forth between us personally. 3) Doug made a mistake and thought I was someone I was not when a troll started leaving comments on his blog apparently under the name "John" and I DID NOT leave those comments, and it led to a lot of shit talking about me that I guess I am still exploring/finding out. I liked u Gladys so I am a little wtf and confused and discouraged/disappointed but I understand we didn't really have time to develop a relationship because you started your blog towards when I was leaving. In response to this comment, what the fuck do u know about me and my life and what people say to me and "how many people" have told me I am "crazy" or "bipolar" and why the fuck would I believe them? I would also appreciate it if you could find it in your heart and the space to take down the second post, "Passive Aggressive attacks," though I know it's mostly about something else, but there is still one line about me and there are comments to/about me under that one that do not make me feel good. It is okay if you can only do the first one for now and the second one later, but this one, I really would like you to take down. You definitely, DEFINITELY, need to take this one down, please. I am very, very angry.

      respectfully,
      Lisa

    4. Dear Gladys,
I see demanding you to take posts down is a little too whatever now, over demanding. It was just hurtful the first time. I can live with these two posts and comments. I don't really want you to take them down, I think what I really wanted was more of a response or a reply or something. You don't have to be like all sorry or something, I just wanted to hear a little from you. Ironically, i am technically homeless now (living in a shelter where I finally can get my own room now. idk if that's tmi). It's okay if you don't have the time...
Anyways, I'm not as mad anymore.

  4. Exactly. My point is legally, people have the right to refuse medications-and it wasn't always this way. "The Right to Refuse" leads to all kinds of stuff that's not good for any living entity. No one is safe when the "decision" is made without consideration for the Safety and/or Rights of Others particularly when the "results" of uninformed "informed decisions" have been manifested over and over again.
"When several people are telling you the same thing" (over and over in a variety of ways) "perhaps LISTENING should be your Super Power, rather than the Ridiculous Rant."
    Yep.
